Learn how to enroll in courses, track progress, earn certificates, and access bootcamps.
1. Finding a Course
Browse all courses at academy.africoders.com. Use the search bar to find specific topics, or filter by category, difficulty level, and price. Each course shows its duration, lesson count, and student rating.
2. Enrolling in a Course
Click Enroll on any course page. Free courses start immediately. For paid courses, you'll be redirected to Flutterwave to complete payment. Once verified, you get lifetime access to all course materials.
3. Navigating Lessons
Courses are organized into modules, each containing multiple lessons. Navigate using the sidebar syllabus. Lessons may include video, text content, code snippets, and downloadable resources. Your progress is saved automatically.
4. Tracking Your Progress
Your course dashboard shows completion percentage, current lesson, and time spent. Each completed lesson is marked with a checkmark. You can see all your enrolled courses and their progress on the Academy dashboard.
5. Getting Your Certificate
Complete all lessons and assessments to unlock your certificate. Certificates are downloadable as PDF and include a unique verification code. Share your achievement on LinkedIn or add it to your Africoders profile.
6. Accessing Bootcamps
Bootcamps are intensive, multi-week programs with live sessions and projects. Browse available bootcamps on the Academy page. Enrollment requires payment — options include full payment (with 5% discount) or installment plans.
7. Booking a Mentor Session
Browse available mentors on the Academy mentors page. View their expertise, availability, and hourly rate. Book a session by selecting an available time slot and completing payment. Sessions are conducted via video call.
