Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the standards of conduct for all users of the Africoders platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates this policy. Specifically, you will not:
Content Violations:
- Post, upload, or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or hateful
- Share content containing violence, threats, or harassment
- Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotional material
- Share content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Post content containing personal information of others without consent
System and Security Violations:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Disrupt or interfere with Platform functionality
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data without permission
- Circumvent security measures or protections
User Conduct Violations:
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Engage in discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Stalk, dox, or engage in coordinated harassment
- Engage in fraudulent activities or scams
- Exploit or manipulate other users
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to:
- Use a strong, unique password
- Immediately notify us of unauthorized access
- Monitor your account activity
- Comply with all applicable laws
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you create and share. By posting content on Africoders, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content on the Platform.
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor usage, investigate violations, and take appropriate action, including:
- Issuing warnings or notices
- Suspending or terminating accounts
- Removing prohibited content
- Reporting to law enforcement when necessary
- Taking legal action to recover damages
6. Report Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately to abuse@africoders.com with details and evidence.
7. Updates to Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
